About the Founder
You need to know a little about me. I have been in church since I was in the womb. I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior at the age of 7. I was raised conservative and the daughter of a full time minister. He was a minister of music, youth pastor and whatever the different churches needed at the time. I have seen first hand the influence churches have on shaping children, marriages, parent-child relationships and how they can protect or destroy the ministers that work for them. At the age of 27, I married a Norwegian. Just a couple of months before our wedding he felt God's call on his life toward full time ministry. |
I never told God that I would "never" marry a preacher, but I felt He should have known better. Well, the invitations were already sent, so, yes, I married a preacher.
Our 19 years of marriage have taken us through: youth pastor, senior pastor, missions pastor, and now full time evangelism, leadership development, global ministry and on average, a single parent for about 180 days out of a given year. God is the only way I have made it, but I would like to share the things I have gleaned and continue to glean as a wife of a minister. We have 4 children, 3 of them are teenagers now.
For those of you who will join us, there will be times of laughter, times of tears and times of just breathing together. So, jump on board and you will find out some of the blessings and trials I have been through being married to the "Ministry".
